The montana equus experience
June 20-25, 2027

Come to Montana.

Slow down. Listen deeply.

Remember what your heart already knows.
Step away from the noise. Return to yourself.

A five-day Equus retreat on an 8,000 acre, family-owned and operated ranch.

A little magic.
A little adventure.
A lot of remembering.

Do you have a bigger vision for your life?

Is something quietly calling to you, just at the edges of your understanding?
Perhaps life is good. Maybe even very good. But lately you've found yourself wondering if there is another chapter waiting.
A dream you've set aside.
A part of yourself that has gotten buried beneath responsibilities, routines, and taking care of everyone else.
I don't believe we lose ourselves.
I think we simply forget.
Forget what lights us up.
Forget what we long for.
Forget the quiet wisdom that's always been there beneath the noise.
Forget the joy that has been patiently waiting for us all along.

This retreat was created to help you remember. Not someone you've lost.
Someone you've always been.

For more than a decade, I’ve had the privilege of gathering people in Montana, and I’ve learned that the most meaningful moments are often the ones we don’t plan.
There is something about this place that makes remembering easier.
Maybe it's the endless sky.
Maybe it's the rhythm of ranch life.
Maybe it's stepping away from calendars, notifications, and expectations.

Or maybe it's the horses.

Picture
Horses don't care about your resumé, your title, your accomplishments, or the roles you've learned to play.
They meet us exactly where we are.
They invite us to slow down, become present, and notice what we may have been too busy to see.
They respond to authenticity.
They have an extraordinary way of reflecting back what we can't always see in ourselves.
The horses have taught me that the smallest shifts often reveal the most.
A breath. A hesitation. A moment of trust.

Those quiet moments are often where the real conversation begins.

Your Invitation

Join us in the rugged wilds of Southwest Montana on a breathtaking 8,000-acre private ranch.
For five days, we'll slow down together.
We'll ride horses through beautiful country.
We'll gather around the fire after dinner.
We'll laugh.
We'll share stories.
We'll enjoy wonderful meals, quiet mornings, spectacular sunsets, and plenty of room to breathe.
To preserve the intimacy of the experience, this retreat is limited to just six women.

There will be deep conversations and quiet moments. There will also be laughter, unexpected joy, and the kind of connection that happens when people slow down enough to truly see one another.
There will be moments that challenge you, surprise you, and simply make you smile.
Space to reflect. Space to play. Space to come home to yourself.

There will be adventure, too.

What Women Are Saying

"Immersed in this magical setting, Erika guides her clients through a time of contemplation and reflection, creating space to feel completely comfortable exploring an area of your life you choose to work on. You'll come out on the other side refreshed and with new perspectives to move forward with." ~Ingrid V., Maine

"Erika has a remarkable gift for seeing beyond the self-doubt people carry. She helps people recognize strengths and capabilities they often cannot see in themselves, and that realization stays with you long after the Montana retreat  is over.
I came with no horse experience and a deep lack of confidence. Stepping into the pen felt incredibly vulnerable, and I was certain my discomfort would overshadow the experience.
What makes Erika so extraordinary is her ability to create a safe space, where you feel both supported and challenged.  She gently guides and encourages you while also holding you accountable for your own growth. She never takes the experience away from you, or scripts it for you—she allows you to discover your own strength.

Years later, I still think about that experience whenever I’m facing something that feels bigger than me. That is the kind of lasting impact this experience has." ~Kelly F., Pennsylvania

Equus Coaching

There will be Equus coaching—both individual and group—creating space to explore whatever is stirring in your life.
Work.
Relationships.
Purpose.
Transitions.
Dreams.
Or simply the desire to feel more connected to yourself again.
There will also be spaciousness.
Time to wander.
Time to journal.
Time to sit beneath a sky big enough to help you hear yourself again.

A Time to Receive
A one-hour therapeutic massage with Linda (more on her below) is included during your stay.
This is not an add-on.
It is part of the rhythm of the retreat.
A chance to soften.
To integrate.
To let your nervous system catch up with your experience.

Because slowing down isn’t just something we talk about here—it’s something you are invited to fully receive.

*Linda Puder, co-owner of the D-Stress Station in Central Pennsylvania, is a licensed massage therapist and my unofficial chief marketing officer. She has joined me on this adventure for several years and brings so much joy to the experience for all.
She has more than 35 years experience in the field and has certifications in many forms of bodywork, including colon hydrotherapy therapy, neuro muscular therapy, manual lymph drainage therapy and is certified as an infant/family massage instructor.
Beyond her tremendous therapeutic skills, Linda is one of the most joyful, loving people I know. A gracious teammate who is always in service to people's health education and overall wellness.

I can't promise you'll leave with every answer.
But I do believe you'll leave asking better questions.
And sometimes that's exactly where a new chapter begins.

Meet Your Guide
For more than a decade, I've guided individuals and groups through Equus coaching experiences that invite deeper self-awareness, connection, and meaningful change. My work is grounded in the belief that horses have an extraordinary way of helping us remember who we are when we slow down enough to listen.
The Montana Equus Experience brings together everything I love—horses, wild places, honest conversation, laughter, warm, genuine hospitality, and the kind of spaciousness that allows people to reconnect with themselves.

I look forward to welcoming you.

Your Investment

This retreat is intentionally small, allowing each guest the time, space, and individual attention that makes the experience meaningful.

Investment: $4,500 per person

To reserve your place, a $1,000 non-refundable deposit (scroll up for the Reserve My Spot button) is due upon acceptance into the retreat.

The remaining balance may be paid in full or through a flexible payment plan prior to the retreat. I'm happy to work with you to create a schedule that feels manageable.

Your investment includes lodging, meals, coaching experiences, horseback activities, massage, transportation to/from Great Falls Airport, and all scheduled retreat activities.

Flexible payment plans are available, and I'm happy to work with you to create one that fits your needs.

Reserve Your Spot
Once your application has been accepted, a $1,000 non-refundable deposit will reserve your place. The remaining balance may be paid in full or through an agreed-upon payment plan prior to the retreat.

Because this experience is limited to just six participants, your space is confirmed once your deposit is received.

Cancellation Policy
Because this retreat is intentionally small, each reservation is significant. A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is required to reserve your place. If you need to cancel more than 90 days (March 20, 2027) before the retreat, any payments made beyond your deposit will be refunded. Within 90 days of the retreat, payments are generally non-refundable unless your place can be filled from the wait list.
I understand that unexpected circumstances arise, so if life takes an unforeseen turn, please reach out. While I can't guarantee exceptions, I'll always do my best to work with you.
Because travel plans and unforeseen events can happen, I
strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment in the retreat should illness, travel disruptions, or other unexpected circumstances prevent you from attending.

FAQ's
Do I need horse experience?
Not at all. Equus coaching takes place on the ground, and no prior horse experience is required. Whether you've spent a lifetime around horses or have never touched one, you'll be welcomed exactly where you are. Riding instruction is available for all experience levels.

What is the lodging like?
You'll stay at the historic Blacktail Ranch Lodge, surrounded by the beauty of Southwest Montana. The lodge offers comfortable accommodations, welcoming gathering spaces, and the quiet charm of a traditional western ranch.
You'll have a private room in the main lodge, unless you're coming with a friend and want to share a room. The lodge has one main bathroom on the second floor and additional facilities on the first floor.
NOTE: The price per person is the same even if you share a room.

How physically demanding is the retreat?
The retreat is designed to be restorative rather than strenuous. There will be walking on uneven ground, horseback riding (if you choose), and time spent outdoors, but activities are paced to allow plenty of rest, reflection, and relaxation. If you have questions about whether the retreat is a good fit for your needs, I'm happy to talk with you.

How do I get there?
Fly into Great Falls, Montana, where transportation to and from the ranch is included. Once you're accepted into the retreat, I'll send detailed travel information to help make your journey easy.

What if I have dietary restrictions?
We do our best to accommodate most dietary needs. Please let me know about any allergies or dietary restrictions when completing your guest information forms so we can plan accordingly.

Can I come alone?
Absolutely.
In fact, many women do. Most guests arrive knowing no one and leave with meaningful friendships that continue long after the retreat ends.

What should I pack?
You'll receive a detailed packing list before the retreat, but think comfortable layers, sturdy shoes or boots, a journal, and clothing that allows you to relax and enjoy time outdoors. Montana weather can change quickly, so layers are always a good idea.

What if I'm not sure if this is for me?
If something about this experience resonates with you, but you're still uncertain, I encourage you to apply. The application isn't about being chosen—it's simply an opportunity for us to get to know one another and explore whether this retreat feels like the right fit.

Ready to Begin?

Perhaps this is your season.
To pause.
To breathe.
To listen.
To remember.

If something inside you whispered “yes” while reading, I’d love to hear your story.

Because this retreat is intentionally small, each application is simply a way for us to get to know one another and ensure it feels like the right fit.

Apply for the Retreat
Because there are only six places available, everyone begins with an application so we can ensure the experience is the right fit for everyone involved.
This isn’t about being chosen.
It’s simply a chance for us to get to know one another and determine whether this experience feels like the right fit for you.
A note before you apply: The best participants are not necessarily the most experienced, accomplished, or adventurous. They are people who are open, curious, and ready to engage in the experience.
